(CENTERVILLE) - The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce has hired Dina Lyons Howell as administrative assistant of The Cape Cod Blue Economy Foundation and the Cape Cod Climate Change Collaborative.

In her new role, Howell will support Katy Acheson, Vice President of Community Impact, in the continued growth of these two vital organizations.

Born and raised on Long Island, Dina grew up sailing on the waters between Great South Bay and the Cape & Islands. Dina is passionate about the coastal environment, and when she isn't sailing, she's exploring the beaches and trails, picking up trash or creating nature journals and plein air paintings.

Dina has a BFA in graphic design from The Cooper Union and an MFA in graphic design from Yale University. After holding roles at design firms in New York, Boston, and Washington D.C., Dina moved to Cape Cod in 2004, where she operated her own graphic design studio for 11 years while also raising two young children.

Prior to joining the Staff of the Cape Cod Chamber, Dina worked on SmartPak Equine's Ecommerce team, first as a Senior User Experience Designer and then as a Senior Product Manager.

Dina is a member of the Cape Cod Technology Council, Cape Cod Young Professionals, The Cultural Center of Cape Cod, and Mass Audubon. She is also a 2025 graduate of the Community Leadership Institute, and a mentor with EForAll Cape Cod.

Dina resides in Osterville with her husband Jeff, and together they share a blended family of 4 adult kids.
