WaterWORKS 2026 Exhibitor Information
Everything You Need to Know as a WaterWORKS Exhibitor

Registered Exhibitors
We're looking forward to seeing you at WaterWORKS 2026 on Tuesday, January 13th at Cape Cod Community College. We’re excited to welcome hundreds of high school juniors and seniors from schools across Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket Counties, ready to learn about the work you do. In the afternoon, WaterWORKS will welcome general attendees from everyone from college students and job seekers to families and other businesses.
This popular event introduces students and attendees to careers in STEM and Blue Economy. In addition to knowledge about the diversity of careers available to them, all WaterWORKS attendees should come away from the day with an understanding of the education, preparation, and training they need to pursue those careers. Please plan on sharing information about career pathways relative to your line of work and information about current internship, work and volunteer opportunities with your organization. We invite you to post open roles on our Jobs Board, which will be shared on our social media channels.
This page contains event preparation steps, detailed event information, and some helpful tips for making the most of the day. If you have any questions or fun ideas, please reach out to katy@capecodchamber.org.
We look forward to seeing you at the event. Thank you again for participating in WaterWORKS 2026 and inspiring our next generation of workers, innovators, and leaders!

Thanks to our sponsors, we will provide all exhibitors and volunteers with hot beverages and pastries starting at 8am inside the STEM Dept office SE102. We will also provide lunches. Lunches will be delivered to your table by volunteers during the event. Let us know right away if you have any food allergies. We will do our best to accommodate with the help of Cape Cod Community College catering.
You should plan to bring:
- Self-standing banner(s). Nothing can be hung from walls.
- Tablecloths, but please note that some tables are located inside classrooms and are not traditional size. If you are exhibiting in one of these spaces, we will make that clear.
- Extension cords for electronics.
- Refillable water bottles. We will supply water, but there are also filling stations around the buildings.
We look forward to seeing your table displays and encourage you to bring hands-on, interactive exhibits or activities that will inspire interest in your work. Here are some suggestions for how to engage with attendees at your table:
- Giveaways. Consider giving a small prize to all students who interact with your booth, to students who win a quick game, or offer a raffle entry method for a larger prize.
- Positioning. Stand in front of the booth instead of behind it to initiate conversations and ask questions as students walk by.
- Technology. Share scrolling images, videos, or other media about what you do.
- Games. Create a 1-minute game, challenge, or activity based on your area of work.
- Tactiles. Bring items students are allowed to hold and touch such as work gear or equipment.
- Creation. Organize a creative activity where attendees create something related to your work out of materials you provide.
- Treats. Share individually wrapped candies with attendees who interact with your booth or answer a question about your work.
- Swag. Share pens, brochures, stickers, or whatever you have with attendees who interact with your booth.
- Quizzes. Prepare a mini quiz attendees can take to determine if your career is right for them.
- Soft skills. Help students and other attendees practice the ‘soft skills’ they are learning. For example, offer handshakes or encourage eye contact when talking. Help them develop these skills through practice and support.
- Information about 2026 opportunities and how to apply. Feel free to post job opportunities on our website: Post a Job
